Welcome to Sebeya
Sebeya is a village of 9,000 people in N Ethiopia. The land is dry and the people farm wheat, maize, barley and sorghum.
The village has 5 schools, one of which is Catholic, a Catholic church and a health centre. The roads are very poor and the water supply is unreliable. There are no reservoirs or canals in the area.
We hope to make a difference via CAFOD (Catholic Fund for Overseas Development) through their scheme “Connect 2 Ethiopia”. The money we raise will help to improve the water supply and quality of life for the villagers of Sebeya.
